Directions for Downloading and Viewing Mr. SIDä Files (on PC)

Download Viewer

• Go to www.lizardtech.com
• Click on products, then downloads
• download Mr. SID stand alone viewer
• install Mr. Sid viewer on to computer

Download Images

• Click on image map (picture of Mississippi coast line) on homepage
• select map to download
• download to computer
• open file in SID viewer

Tips and Hints

• geo-tiff be imported into programs such as ESRI ArcViewä and Erdas Imagineä
• geo-tiff files will look tilted and smaller upon opening in the viewer
• For simple viewing purposes, the tiff file is recommended
